Useful Information on If Florida Is a Perfect Move for You
There are many advantages and also disadvantages of living in Phoenix and Charlotte as covered in the previous episode of the perfect move series. Most freelancers will, for instance, look for a perfect place where for example the cost of living is low, and the housing is inexpensive because they live a simple life and do not necessarily mind about employment opportunities and getting married. In this article, we shall check out the state of Florida, and you’re going to discover more on whether Florida may be a perfect move for you.
I have visited two places in Florida in the last six years and the first place I made a trip to Tallahassee and recently, I went for to St. Petersburg. I used Uber rides, and during my numerous rides, I would constantly communicate with the drivers who provided me with information about the good and bad things about living in Florida. It came to my realization that most people Florida were from up north and only moved to Florida. However, one person in St. Petersburg told me that they were born and raised in Florida. Being concerned about the effects of more people moving into Florida on the cost of housing, I heard many people discussing their housing and how much they paid for the housing. Where I live currently it only cost me about $700 a month but an equivalent apartment in St. Petersburg would cost double. Because ten or five years prior the prices were low, and it means that the increase in the housing prices occurred when there was an influx of people into Florida.
In Florida unlike in Virginia where I was born and raised, the summers are usually very hot, and you will also experience high humidity and the coldness of the winter season will also go down up to about 50 degrees on some days. Florida would not, therefore, be a good place for me especially also because you will also not find mountains there even though you will experience a subtropical climate and beautiful beaches. In Florida, you’ll find many gators and snakes which will also not make me leave the because I do not intend to find a gator or python on my driveway. You should also know that Florida has beautiful water and is luring for people who love boating or swimming and makes it a good place to visit, though I don’t think I’ll still call Florida home. In conclusion, the cost of living in Florida was high for me, the weather was unbearable, and the beautiful water would still not make me move at the moment.
